Ack! I can't believe the pool got cancelled and I don't even have anywhere else to rant about it! Now what am I going to do this season (or next)? There have been many twists and turns since I started playing this pool format in 1999 when it was known as Smallworld Hockey. Despite warts and all (especially in the past fews seasons), I loved it. Now this is truly the end of an era. So sad. :(
I'd appreciate any suggestions for alternatives. Cheers!
Fongolia don't despair. Me and a few mates are working on a new solution.
Hopefully you'll be able to sign up in November so that the first day of action will be on the 1st of December.
What we are planning is a free for all premier salary cap game. That is, a 12 player roster with 5 new trades each week. Work has started on the following site:
